Level I Workshops to be offered for the summer of 2008

Level I:  Getting Kids Academically "Dressed for Success"
The VoWac (Vowel Oriented Word Attack Course) workshop provides training for instruction of language arts skills, word pronunciation, and spelling. VoWac strategies use Orton-Gillingham methods; a multi sensory approach (1/3 auditory, 1/3 visual, 1/3 kinesthetic).  Also included is CLOVER; a unique method to identify and master vowel patterns in the English language. The workshop includes a segment on identifying learning modalities and adapting instruction to preferred learning styles.  Participants will also be guided through the "Beading Method"; the story writing process found within VoWac's Spelling curriculum.

  • All participants must pre-register & prepay for workshops:  School Purchase Order ▪ Visa/Mastercard ▪ Checks (payable to VoWac)

  • Registration is due 5 days prior to workshop date.

  • $20.00 fee for late registration may be assessed. 

  • Do NOT Send Cash! ~ "No-Shows" are assessed $20.00
