Here is an easy game for kindergarten students (two or more players).

Object of the game:  Create three-letter words. 

Materials needed: Game sheet, pencil, two 30-sided letter dice. 

The play:  Players take turns rolling the dice.  After each roll, the player calls out his letters on both dice to the other players.  All players must place the letters in any of the open boxes on their grid.  Once a letter is written in a box, it remains there until the end of the game. 

The score:  Players receive one point for each word spelled correctly.

Variations: 

1)  Players may work in teams of two or three.  Scoring is the same. 

2)  Players call out their words as they are spelled.  Teacher or student records the words on the board.  Allow a word to be used only once. 

3)  If time does not allow for vowel grids to be used, select specific grid(s) and complete game.
